Plans are in Iran for the social sciences in line with Islamic teachings, so that students like Sam worried. Sam, that a 29-year-old Social Science studies in Tehran believes that the authorities have directed his field, because it helps develop critical thinking.
“The Social Science are intolerable to religious [fanatics] whose spectrum is latest ruling Iran,” he says, on condition that his real name not be used. But Sam said that efforts by the Iranian authorities, who have already announced changes to university curricula in the social sciences who want to implement next year, will eventually fail.
If the effort is aimed at lines of thought that could compete or contrast with officially sanctioned views of silence, then Sam believes that the authorities need to look beyond Iranian universities of Social Science.

“Today, the creation of new ideas in Iran is not limited to universities,” says Sam. “I might say that in unofficial [structures] the creation and dissemination of ideas is more widespread. Universities of Iran today are nothing more than publishing centers of degrees Social Science.”
